Terms & Conditions
Welcome to NC Travels. By booking a ride through our website, WhatsApp, phone call, or any other communication channel, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
- A booking request does not guarantee vehicle availability.
- Your booking is confirmed only after you receive confirmation from NC Travels.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate details.
- Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays or cancellation.
2. Advance Booking
- Customers are encouraged to book in advance to ensure vehicle availability.
- Last-minute bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
- Special event days, weekends, holidays, and peak travel seasons may have limited availability.
3. Payment Policy
- Advance payment may be required to confirm certain bookings.
- The remaining balance can be paid before or at the end of the trip.
- Accepted payment methods include UPI, bank transfer, cash, etc.
- All applicable toll charges, parking fees, state taxes, and permit charges are payable by the customer.
4. Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellation:
- > 24 hours before pickup: No cancellation charge.
- 12 - 24 hours before pickup: Up to 25% of the booking amount.
- < 12 hours before pickup: Up to 50% of the booking amount.
- Within 2 hours or after driver dispatch: Up to 100% of the booking amount.
No-Show:
If the customer is unavailable at the pickup location for more than 30 minutes, it is treated as a No-Show (no refund).
5. Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- Bank processing times may vary depending on the payment method.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method wherever possible.
6. Driver Waiting Charges
- Local rides include up to 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time.
- Airport pickups include up to 45 minutes of complimentary waiting after the flight lands.
- Additional waiting time may incur extra charges.
7. Airport Pickup Policy
- Customers should provide accurate flight details during booking.
- Flight delays will be accommodated where possible.
- If flight details are not shared correctly, NC Travels is not responsible for missed pickups.
8. Changes to Booking
Customers may request changes to:
- Pickup time
- Pickup location
- Destination
- Vehicle type
Changes are subject to vehicle availability and revised pricing where applicable.
9. Extra Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Additional destinations / Route deviations
- Waiting beyond complimentary time
- Extra luggage requiring a larger vehicle
- Night travel, Interstate/Hill station permits, Tolls, Parking
10. Customer Responsibilities
- Treat the vehicle respectfully.
- Wear seat belts at all times.
- Follow applicable traffic laws.
- Avoid smoking inside the vehicle.
- Avoid carrying prohibited, dangerous, or illegal items.
11. Driver Responsibilities
Our drivers are committed to:
- Arriving on time whenever reasonably possible.
- Maintaining courteous and professional behavior.
- Driving safely and following traffic regulations.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
12. Delays
NC Travels is not responsible for delays caused by heavy traffic, road closures, weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, government restrictions, public events, or natural disasters. Every reasonable effort will be made to minimize inconvenience.
13. Vehicle Substitution
In exceptional circumstances, NC Travels reserves the right to provide a similar or upgraded vehicle if the booked vehicle becomes unavailable.
14. Luggage Policy
- Customers are responsible for their luggage.
- Oversized luggage should be disclosed during booking.
- NC Travels is not liable for luggage left behind in the vehicle.
15. Lost & Found
If belongings are left in the vehicle, customers should contact us immediately. While we will make reasonable efforts to assist in recovering lost items, NC Travels is not responsible for any loss or damage.
16. Safety
- Drivers may refuse service to passengers displaying abusive, violent, or illegal behavior.
- Alcohol or prohibited substances must not be consumed inside the vehicle.
- Children should travel using appropriate safety restraints where required.
17. Liability
NC Travels shall not be liable for missed flights or trains, business losses, delays beyond reasonable control, or indirect/consequential damages. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the booking.
18. Privacy
- Customer information is collected solely for booking, communication, and service improvement purposes.
- We do not sell customer information to third parties.
19. Pricing
Quoted fares are based on the information provided during booking. Prices may change if trip details, locations, duration, stops, or taxes change.
20. Right to Refuse Service
NC Travels reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking involving fraudulent activity, abusive behavior, safety concerns, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.
21. Changes to Terms
NC Travels may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on our website will apply to all new bookings.
